Welcome to Yarralinka Primary School, Southern River’s newest primary school. Our school opened in 2021 and currently caters for student from Kindergarten up Year 6. We are excited to work in partnership with our local community to provide our students the best opportunities to achieve personal success.
Our school is committed to adopting a whole-child approach to learning- that is focusing on social, emotional, academic, physical and creativity aspects in our children. At Yarralinka Primary School, families will see modern and effective teaching practices that are well supported by a strong research base. A strong and positive school culture is vital in supporting students to achieve personal success. We aim to foster a culture built on respect, valuing diversity, positive relationships, high expectations and connection to the local community.
The local environment in our area is unique and something that should be treasured. Our school seeks to have the local environment reflected within many aspects of its operations, such as school colours, building names, playground designs and faction names. We want every student to have a positive experience at our school and to be supported on their pathway to personal success.
